Irrigation and Landscape Work at the Interchange (On Abu Dhabi-Dubai Road) And Along Shahama – Saadiyat Freeway, Yas Island.

Scope of Works:
Works within this Contract comprise all works as indicated on the drawings, the BOQ and described hereinafter:

• Construct of hard and soft landscape at the Yas Island interchange on Abu Dhabi –Dubai Road & along Shahama – Saadiyat Freeway, YAS Island
• Earthworks including riprap protection
• Construct the irrigation network and connection point including all irrigation valves, solenoid valves, controllers, etc
• Site survey for the irrigation pipelines and connection points as shown on the drawings
• Hydraulic calculations for the irrigation network till pumping station

Supply, Installation, commissioning of the following:

• Main irrigation HDPE pipelines from the existing pumping station including all valve chambers, air valves etc and all work to complete
• Pipe connection between existing discharge chamber at Pumping Station 94A to the new proposed pipelines
• Construction of HDPE pipeline in HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) method & connection to the new valve chamber
• Co-ordination with the other contractors working on site
• Co-ordination with all authorities for all permits, power supply, water supply approval of pipe
• Operation and maintenance of the irrigation network and landscape works for 90 days after PAC issue
• Co-ordination with the existing O&M contractor of the existing pumping station
• Any works related to the above works in any location within project areas, which may be instructed throughout the duration of the Contract
• Reinstatement of all surfaces and/or any existing components/services disturbed or damaged as a result of the construction of this project
• Any work related to the above works in any location within 50 km of Project Areas, which may be instructed throughout the duration of the Contract
• The provision of labour, materials, plant, equipment, instruments etc required for the works
• The testing and commissioning of all works
• The maintenance of the works for a period of 365 days
